I want to thank the New Iberia Police Department for providing an es**rt to bring emergency groceries to a family in need.
Officer S. Penn was more than polite and willing to help. He was very personable in interacting with the family.

Our families received lean ground beef this morning, courtesy of Sheriff Thomas Romero. Sheriff Romero donated 200lbs of ground beef to serve those in need in our community.
Our little ones received McDonald's gift cards (donated by the student at Epiphany Day School) and nutritional pediatric shakes.

Our families received 5lb packs of Legnon's (chicken, mild pork and spicy pork) fresh sausage.
Brown Bag food distribution also included BBQ dinners (courtesy of Bon Creole), nutritional supplements for our Seniors and young children, baked breads and sweets, fresh fruits and veggies, and deli meats and sandwiches.

An Abundance of Blessings for our families!! This mornings distribution included COVID-19 tests kits (courtesy of the Iberia Parish Fire Dept and LDHH), Pull-Apart donuts (courtesy of McDonalds), ice cream, nutritional supplement shakes for our Seniors and young children, and chicken breast!

Covid-19 changed the lives of thousands of people right here in Iberia Parish. As an Essential Service Agency, Solomon House realized the importance of keeping it's doors opened during the epidemic. By completing shifting it’s distribution process and implementing procedures to keep the community safe, Solomon House was able to not only keep it’s doors opened but served families and individuals who have never utilized a food pantry before but needed assistance to sustain their families.
