4-H Camp is coming to Iberia Parish! This year, Camp Grant Walker is featuring a “Traveling Camp” and will host a day-camp in New Iberia! 4-H Camp will be held at SugArena on Tuesday, July 13th and on the following morning of Wednesday, July 14th, we will host a “Splash Day” next door at the Isle of Iberia!
Be sure to turn in your registration by June 1st. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Iberia 4-H office at 369-4440.

I recently discovered the documentary Kiss the Ground, and it has changed the way I view climate change forever. Finally, we have some ideas that will help stop and reverse global warming. “It is as old as dirt” said Woody Harrelson, and that’s because our solution is soil. We have been looking for outside resources for so long we forgot to consider what’s been under our nose this entire time. This documentary is perfect for all ages because it is entertaining and uses persuasive techniques to show the world change is possible. If you want to obtain the free educational cut, go to

We have a few (5) spots available for kid Chef cooking camp July 5 & 6 from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. at Iberia Middle School in the Home Ec. Lab. Please come by the 4-H Office by Tuesday, July3rd to pay and fill out the paperwork. Spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
Remember to pack a water bottle for camp.
We are looking for an adult female to come to 4-H camp July 9-13th. You will have to be overnight chaperone trained and pass a background check. Contact Ms. Christy or Mr. Maddox if interested.
