PENDING:
The ambulance service was sent the wrong Glucose Test Strips by our medical supply company. They do not want them sent back and told us to dispose of them. We hate to throw away good supplies that may be able to help someone in the community. If you know anyone who tests their glucose levels on a regular basis and could use these, please let me know. The glucometer that uses these strips is not included but can be purchased on Amazon for less than $10.

We don't do our job for recognition, we do our job to help our communities of Greenville and New Ipswich. More and more often lately we are hearing from patients about how thankful they are for our service and how caring the SVAS personnel was to them or their loved ones. Yesterday we got a visit from a patient who relayed that she would not be here for Thanksgiving if it wasn't for the care she received from the crew that was on the day that she needed help. It is the little moments like this that solidify our choice to serve our community as First Responders (Paramedics, AEMTs, EMTs and drivers).

SVAS has had a very busy year so far. In 2024 we ended our year with 532 patient contacts. We met and exceeded that number on October 16th. So far in 2025 we have cared for 540 patients. With 2 1/2 more months left of this year, we are looking at setting a record for annual patient contacts and project that we will end our year in excess of 650 patients cared for. We thank the Towns of Greenville and New Ipswich for their continued support.

Again the wonderful businesses in the Town of New Ipswich have come forward with donations to help us purchase equipment that has reached its lifetime limit. With donations made to SVAS from SK Management and TruForm Foundations, we were able replace our two EZ-IO Power Drivers. This piece of equipment may seem small but it is an integral part of the equipment we have on our ambulances. This IO Drill allows us to gain vascular access via either your tibia or humerus when we are unable to get an IV in place. This is very important for critical patients when fluids and medication administration is necessary and we cannot gain vascular access through the standard IV method. Thank you SK Management and TruForm Foundation for your generous donation.
