Thank you to our neighbors, the Jaffrey Fire Department, for hosting a couple of important annual services over the weekend. From June 6th to the 9th, some of our members completed department physicals with Professional Health Services to ensure their health and safety. Additionally, on June 9th, W.D. Perkins Fire Pump Specialist conducted our annual pump testing to make sure our fire pumps are all in working order. Thank you again to all those who help keep us going!

A special congratulations goes out to two of our own, Firefighter Ryan Murray and Firefighter Drew Anderson, on reaching this milestone. We are proud of your dedication to both your education and your service to our community.

Today’s fire danger is HIGH. There will be no Category 3 permits allowed today, Friday, June 5th 2026. Category 2 permits are still allowed but we urge you to use extreme caution, only burn after 5pm, and always have a way to extinguish your fire.

The Fire Danger has dropped to MODERATE today, May 23rd, 2026, and it will be LOW tomorrow, May 24th, 2026. Category 3 permits will be allowed again. Reminder: Any time you kindle a fire, you need a permit, and the fire must be attended at all times until it's fully extinguished.
