Condolences to the family of Glenn Nordmark, a long-time volunteer with Allegheny Valley Habitat for Humanity who made his mark helping with home builds throughout our local affiliate chapter's 30-year history. Many thanks to Glenn and the lasting impact he has made in the community by sharing his time and his talents with Habitat families throughout the region, helping build community and continuing AV Habitat's mission to get families into safe and stable homes. Sometimes rehabbing a house can be like watching paint dry -- not much obvious change and it seems to take so long. But after three years, the Allegheny Valley Habitat for Humanity home renovation is nearing completion. And as you can see, Kristal and Jas made quick work painting the walls of what will be their new home very soon. Stay tuned for more information about the renovation and upcoming ribbon cutting/key ceremony for the home build.
