♻️ TIRE RECYCLING EVENT ♻️

The Village of New Lebanon will be hosting a Tire Recycling Event on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at:

📍 195 S. Clayton Rd.
New Lebanon, Ohio

Residents may bring up to SIX (6) tires for recycling.

⚠️ Please Note:
• Tires MUST be removed from rims prior to drop-off
• Tires with rims inside will NOT be accepted
• Must be a village resident and bring ID.

Help keep our community clean and dispose of unwanted tires responsibly!

Dixie is beginning a new school year and we would like to remind everyone about school safety.

All traffic must stop for a school bus when it is loading or discharging students, or if the red flashers and stop sign are activated. There are no roadways within the school district where vehicles do not have to stop for a school bus. This includes Main Street, even though it has a center turn lane.

The School Zone for all three schools is located on both Main Street and S. Fuls Road. The zone runs from the intersection of Main Street and Fuls Rd west to the west edge of the Elementary School Property (Near the new Family Dollar/Dollar Tree). The zone also extends southbound from the intersection to the southern edge of the practice fields (Just north of Columbus Hines Way). Often people exit the schools onto S. Fuls, then turn westbound onto Main Street forgetting they are still in a school zone.

UPDATE! ROADWAY REOPENED: As of 4:45 PM on July 14, 2026, Avon Oak Court at South Clayton Road is reopened.
