Just like to give a big shout out to a few people. Perry County 4H - Jessica Rockey, Sheridan Vo-Ag - Tyler Lones, Mark Paxton, Perry SWCD -Tim Kirby, and Perry County Maintenance -Roger Goodin and Trey D***s. Perry County 4H had the Sheridan Vo-ag construct a picnic table for the Perry County Gun Club. Upon picking up the table, I found out that it was a bit too heavy for just me and Collin to take and deliver. Tim met us at Sheridan High School with the trailer. Tim, Collin, Tyler, and Mark Paxton loaded it up and away Tim Collin and I went. Oh no, how are we getting it from the trailer to the shelter house. Roger and Trey to save the day. It was very much appreciated by this ole' girl. LOL

๐Ÿ’ฅPerry County Folks! ๐Ÿ’ฅ
Perry Soil and Water Conservation District is providing FREE soil samples for Perry County landowners for crop fields, pastures, grassland, hay land, gardens, food plots, orchards, etc.. Funding was generously provided by Busch Light and Champs Pizza and Pub. We have reached over half of our funds for this program, so contact us at Perry SWCD in New Lexington at (740)743-1325 or email Collin at [email protected] to get an appointment scheduled!

With the drought conditions we've experienced over the past two years, soil sampling is one of the best ways to understand what your soil needs to restore its health and productivity.

**NOTE* We do NOT do soil sampling for septic systems!
