The Multi-Agency Resource Center continues to provide a central location for individuals and families affected by the recent flooding to connect with agencies and organizations that can provide assistance and valuable resources.

In partnership with the United Way of Muskingum, Perry & Morgan Counties, residents can now call 211 24/7 for questions regarding volunteering, donations, and disaster assistance.

The Hopewell United Methodist Church Ice Cream Social never disappoints, from homemade food and desserts to Weldon’s ice cream, there was something for everybody! It was a great time supporting this local tradition with fellow members of our community. 🥧🍰

There’s nothing like sharing a meal with some wonderful friends and neighbors! I enjoyed attending the Thornville United Methodist Church Back-to-School Community Dinner this month and it was great to see a nice turnout from our Perry County community. Thanks to everyone who helped make this dinner possible! 📚✏️

It was a pleasure to welcome Congressman Troy Balderson to the Perry County Courthouse! We had the opportunity to show him the Common Pleas Court and county offices following our recent renovations. Thank you to Commissioners Chase Bennett and Ben Carpenter, along with some members of the County Commissioners Association, for joining us for this visit! ⚖️

📍 -Monroe Civic Center

📍 Roseville Middle School

• Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📍 High Street Community Church
• Address: 126 S High St, New Lexington, OH 43764
• Hours: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📦 High-Priority Items Needed:
All locations are currently accepting the following essential supplies:
• New, packaged underwear and socks
• Dehumidifiers
• Totes & Pillows
• Scrub brushes & Heavy-duty trash bags
• Vinegar
• Rubber gloves & Work gloves

The Community Foundation for Perry County has established the Perry County Disaster Relief Fund to support our neighbors affected by local disasters, including the recent flash flooding that devastated several of our communities. The fund’s first priority is responding to current flood relief needs, with grants directed to organizations providing immediate services and assistance within our county. Any funds not required for the current response will remain in the fund to support future disaster needs. Our neighbors need us.

Following the recent flash flooding throughout Perry County, the Village of Thornville and Thorn Township are coming together to collect essential supplies for those who have been impacted.

If you're able to help, even a small donation can make a difference. Bottled water, non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, baby supplies, pet supplies, paper products, medical supplies, and other essentials are being accepted.
