Strawberry Fest is a week from right now, and we are thrilled for another year of this incredible community celebration.

The mugs are back for sale this Summer ($10), as well as a limited number of Rec. Department t-shirts ($20) featuring our brand new logo. As always, delicious Strawberries ($10) and Strawberry Shortcake ($10) will be for sale to benefit the Recreation Department. CASH OR CHECK ONLY

Municipal Parking Lot, Corner of Main and Pleasant
Whipple Hall, 25 Seamans Road

With another round of exciting weather over the weekend behind us (who else saw the snowcapped Mount Kearsarge on Saturday afternoon?), the Rec. Department is confident that the Summer weather is around the corner.

A new event starting tomorrow is Lawn Games on the New London Inn Common (where the rink warming hut is located). It’s all about slowing down, unplugging, and enjoying the simple pleasure of a community playing together. Bring a blanket, pack some snacks, and come find your fun. We had an amazing time at the first-ever Kite Fest this past Sunday. There were people of all ages enjoying building and flying kites on a perfect afternoon. A huge thanks to the New London Historical Society, Echo Communications, and the Lyons Club for collaborating on this event.
