West Rusk High School has an incredible group of approximately 40 teachers and staff who pour their hearts into our students every single day.

We would love to surprise our faculty with matching shirts to kick off our first day of in-service and start the school year with a little extra Raider pride. The total cost is about $600, and we are looking for community members, businesses, alumni, and friends who would like to help make it happen.

Would you consider sponsoring one shirt for $15? Or maybe two, three, or even more?

Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing staff shirts for our amazing West Rusk faculty and staff.

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Laura Pevoto as the new counselor at West Rusk High School!

Mrs. Pevoto is already a familiar face to many in our district. Most recently, she has served as the West Rusk Junior High counselor and, as a West Rusk parent herself, she understands firsthand what makes this community so special.

She began her career in education 16 years ago and brings a unique background that includes serving as a special education teacher and working with students of all ages, from kindergarten classrooms to adult inmates. Through every role, one thing has remained constant: her passion for championing students while also challenging them to grow into the very best versions of themselves.

Mrs. Pevoto knows she has big shoes to fill, but she is excited to get to know the amazing students, staff, and families of WRHS and continue the tradition of supporting Raiders both inside and outside the classroom.

Please help us give Mrs. Laura Pevoto a warm Raider welcome. We are excited for the impact she will have on our students and school community.

One of the greatest blessings of a small school is that our teachers truly know their students. They have celebrated their successes, encouraged them through challenges, shared countless laughs, and pushed them to reach their full potential.

The Faculty Chosen Senior Superlatives are more than awards. They are a reflection of the relationships built over years of shared experiences, hard work, and growth. Selected by the faculty who have had a front row seat to their journey, these honors recognize the seniors who have left a lasting impact on our campus.
