Our recent Connecticut Military History presentation, “A Heroic But Doomed Defense: The Battle of New London, September 6, 1781,” was a tremendous success — and it’s all thanks to you!

We were honored to host CPT Matthew E. Reardon, Command Historian of the Connecticut Military Department, whose engaging and insightful talk shed new light on the often-forgotten American defense of New London during Benedict Arnold’s 1781 raid. His expertise, drawn from years of scholarship and his recent book The Traitor’s Homecoming, made this presentation truly unforgettable.

📚 A huge thank-you to everyone who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and helped make the event such a meaningful commemoration of the Revolutionary War’s 250th anniversary.
