🌅😎Last week our seniors celebrated their last first day of school with a Senior Sunrise at Hornet Field!😎🌅

In addition to watching the sunrise, they enjoyed doughnuts, captured lots of great pictures, and made new memories! Before heading into school, the Class of 2027 gathered around their classmate, Braden "Buddy" Miller's memorial tree to remember & honor him with a moment of silence.💚

🚌 Bus Safety: Let’s Have a Great Start to the Year!

As we welcome our students back to school, we want to remind everyone that bus safety is a shared responsibility!

🚗 Drivers: Please slow down and pay close attention when you see a school bus. Never pass a bus when its red lights are flashing and stop arm is extended.

Our bus drivers work hard every day to safely transport our students. Let’s show them—and our students—the respect and patience they deserve.

Our professional development kickoff is about more than preparing for a new school year—it’s about preparing to make a difference in the lives of our students. ❤️🖤

This week, our teachers and administrators are participating in Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) training, a process focused on building meaningful relationships, strengthening classroom culture, and creating environments where every student feels known, valued, and supported.

At the heart of CKH is a simple but powerful idea: relationships matter. When students know their teachers care about them and feel a genuine sense of belonging, they are better positioned to engage, learn, grow, and succeed.

We believe strong schools are built on strong relationships. This year, we are intentionally investing in those relationships—not only between teachers and students, but across our entire school community.

We’re excited about the impact this work will have on our students, our classrooms, and our district. Together, we are building a school community where every student knows they matter.
