Last night, the Maple Grove firefighters trained on the pre-plan for St. Michael's Catholic Church. This comprehensive plan covers many critical aspects, including optimal truck placement, securing a reliable water supply, efficient hose deployment, understanding building construction, identifying potential collapse zones, and coordinating mutual aid assignments.
A structure of this size demands a significant amount of water and extensive planning to effectively extinguish a fire. For over 30 years, this plan has been continuously evolving, and we dedicate time each year to work through it. This ongoing effort ensures our skills and tactics are always updated, so we are as prepared as possible for any emergency.
