Lots going on in our town! The Village has received a $750,000 Safe Routes to School Grant! This grant will provide some new sidewalks in designated areas along with some Pedestrian crossing signs operated by the pressing of a button, it also includes new curbing, and drainage. The Village will be replacing the main water w line East of Main Street to the bridge, this is a repair/replacement. This work will not begin until sometime after school is out and after that project, The Village received another Local Street grant to re-do Saginaw Street from Village Limit to Village Limit. This grant is a matching grant that is being funded by our New Lothrop Downtown Development Authority.
