The school year story times at the New Market Area Library don't start until September. The schedule is below. Themes will be announced later. Unfortunately, the Shenandoah County Library website incorrectly listed a story time today at 10 am. We apologize to parents and children who came to find the library closed.

The first Books and Babies will be held on Wednesday, September 2, and the first Preschool Storytime will take place on Friday, September 18. Both story times are at 10 am!

Please welcome Carol Alexander, the new library manager for the New Market Area Library! Carol is hitting the ground running with training at the Shenandoah County Library and working with volunteers and Board of Directors at the New Market Area Library. Carol is a long time library patron. The New Market Area Library thanks the Town of New Market for their financial support for the part time manager position.
