I would like to give a huge thank you to Russell Blamble and Rick Carpenter for taking Newports very 1st run in almost 3 years. We were approved to go back in service following our final inspection today by the Ohio EMS Board. We will officially go in service Monday morning at 6am with a paid crew from 6am-6pm Monday through Saturday. We would like to thank all of the Newport Township residents for your patience while we all have worked countless hours on getting to where we are in reestablishing service to our community……

On January 24th, at 10:40pm, Sheriff Warden has issued a Level 1 Snow Emergency. Level one means roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads are icy. Drive cautiously.
