Below are the methods to apply:
Online portal: The CEAP online portal will close on May 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM
In-person applications: must be received by May 29, 2026
Telephonic applications: must be completed by May 29, 2026
Emailed applications: must be sent/postmarked no later than May 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM
Mailed applications: must be postmarked no later than May 29, 2026

Hello New Milford! All of us at the New Milford Food Bank want to offer our most gracious thank you for an amazing, yet soggy, Stamp Out Hunger food drive! Our wonderful postal carriers brought over 3,300 lbs of food directly from all of you! These donations are a big help to our food bank and will help feed hundreds of families in New Milford. Thank you for another successful year! 🙏😁

Tomorrow's Rain will NOT stop our wonderful Postal Carriers from picking up your food donations for the New Milford Food Bank!
Bundle those food items, nice and tight in a plastic bag, and they will grab them as they deliver your mail!

New Milford! Let’s help this be a huge success for our local postal carriers! They have been participating in this event for decades and they are so passionate about supporting the New Milford Food Bank. 😁
If you are able, please place non perishable food in a secure water proof bag by your mailbox first thing THIS SATURDAY MORNING and your mail person will bring it directly to us at the NMFB! 🤗🎉🎊🎉

Just a few days to go until this year’s Food Drive! Letter carriers nationwide are preparing to hit their routes and collect your non-perishable food donations to support local food banks.

As we head into the final countdown, please join us in thanking our partner organizations for their support of this important effort year after year!

🌟New Milford Friends- We Need Your Help!
👉The New Milford Food Bank continues to help hundreds of local families fight food insecurity. Can you help us stock our shelves! All you have to do is leave non-expired, non-perishable food by your mailbox on SATURDAY, MAY 9th and our wonderful local postal carriers will bring your donations directly to us! Last year we raised about 2500 pounds of food. Our goal is to exceed 3000lbs.
