The Louisiana National Guard Counter Drug Task Force’s Drug Reduction and Prevention Coalition partners with the Drug Enforcement Administration - DEA’s Operation Engage and the New Orleans Police Department at Alice Harte Elementary School to celebrate Red Ribbon Week and to encourage students to take the drug free pledge to take a stand against drugs and drug use.

LANG Counterdrug Program supported several sites across the state for DEA National Drug Takeback Day.

The LA National Guard Counterdrug program volunteered their time to help secure a dilapidated building in Jefferson Parish to prevent further illegal drug acts. The property caught the attention of Senator Bill Cassidy earlier in the year as potential for future low income housing and rehabilitation efforts in the community. The counter drug (DDRO) partners with all of these community partners to support drug prevention efforts such as these throughout the state of Louisiana.
