On this final day of RH Impact's operations, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporters, colleagues, funding partners, staff, and friends. Your unwavering support has empowered us to fight for improved reproductive, maternal, and infant health for Black women, birthing people, and their babies.

We will never stop advocating for the health and well-being of Black women and their children, nor cease calling out injustices and proclaiming the right to equitable, quality healthcare for our community.

With deepest gratitude, we thank every member of the RH Impact community, especially our dedicated staff. Your efforts have made a significant difference in the lives of Black women and their babies. We can't wait to see what you achieve next.

THANK YOU!

🌟 Today, we highlight the transformative work of our Equity-Centered Capacity Building (ECCB) team!

Through tailored training, resources, and collaborative initiatives, the ECCB empowered communities, healthcare providers, and advocates to champion reproductive health equity. Their efforts included conducting Birth Equity Assessments, transitioning the Birth Equity Training Series to an eLearning format, and engaging in community empowerment with organizations like the National Healthy Start Association. The team also contributed to significant publications and presented impactful advocacy at global forums. 🌿

We celebrate the impactful work of our colleagues who oversaw our Transnational program today! 🌟

This team has fostered a global network for collaboration and advocacy, focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights for Black women across the African Diaspora. Partnering with leading organizations, they submitted critical reports on human rights violations due to abortion bans in the U.S. and advocated for SRHRJ policies. Their efforts extended to global platforms, including the Human Rights Committee and the Green Wave advocacy project in Mexico City.

It is with heavy hearts that we share an important update with you regarding the future of Reproductive Health Impact: The Collaborative for Equity & Justice (RH Impact).

After careful consideration and an exhaustive search for viable alternatives, the Executive Leadership of RH Impact, along with its fiscal sponsor The Praxis Project, Inc., have made the very difficult decision to close the organization and cease operations effective July 31, 2024.

We are incredibly proud of our team's efforts (policy, research, training, practice & evaluation, community power building, culture/narrative shift, etc.) in Black maternal & infant health, birth equity, and reproductive justice on behalf of Black women and birthing people all over the world.

We remain forever grateful to our community, partners, long term funders and friends for all of their support.

Thank you for standing with us, Black women, and their families.
