📢🚨BDS WIN!! As of May 1st, 2026, the Louisiana Treasury has decided NOT to reinvest $10 million is Israel Bonds from various state education funds. $10 million divested from Israel means less weapons used to kill and displace children across the Levant and Iran. This means $10 million in better investments for schools and education funds in Louisiana.

A brighter future for all of our children is possible, but we’re not done yet! We want to hear from teachers and organizations directly affected by education funding in Louisiana. In May 2025, ICE agents began showing up every day at the New Orleans Immigration Court—and so did our court observers. Now, it’s more than one year later, and ICE sightings at the New Orleans Immigration Court have become rare. Our court observers are still showing up every day that court is in session.
