Update on Amelia St from Executive Director Randy Hayman

We are working to ensure that moving forward, we strengthen our internal policies surrounding 'problems on properties' and the follow up that is required to ensure that sites are left secured and safe for the public.

SWBNO Executive Director Randy Hayman gives an update on DPS 7.

Last week, SWBNO engineers inspected the drainage bells at DPS 7 in Lakeview. We partially drained the canal to perform our assessment. This allows our team to directly access the drainage bells, clear any debris or buildup, and confirm everything is functioning properly ahead of the next major rain event.

This investigation helps us determine the necessary funding for major upgrades to our Drainage pump station that services Mid City and Lakeview.
