What an amazing last 6 months for A's & Aces! Coco Gauff came to Joe Brown. We renovated the courts with the USTA's Coco Gauff Legacy Fund - and she showed up in person to celebrate the grand opening with our kids. And we earned Chapter of the Year recognition too. Spring has been a busy season for our tournament players! We recently hosted a USTA-sanctioned Level 7 tournament, with many of our players competing and earning valuable ranking points.

Our top 8 & Under players competed in an exciting Orange Ball tournament this weekend! The girls turned their match into a decisive tiebreak, while the boys battled through very close matches each round. Congratulations to our rising stars!

A huge congratulations to Quinn on winning the YMCA Junior Open (USTA Level 6) in the 14 & Under division in Baton Rouge - all while being just 12 years old. We are so proud of your hard work, focus, and determination on the court!

This past week Coach AJ attended the USTA Foundation Impact Conference in Texas. In addition to participating in tennis and leadership workshops, Coach AJ had the opportunity to meet members of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s family - an inspiring reminder of the power of sport to connect communities and carry forward a legacy of leadership and service.
