The Pebbles Center

The Pebbles Center The Pebbles Center is housed at the Children’s Resource Center at 913 Napoleon Avenue. Book and financial donations related are always welcomed.

A collaboration of Tulane University's Latin American Resource Center and the New Orleans Public Library to provide books about Latin America to the Greater New Orleans community. In April of 2004 Tulane University and the New Orleans Public Library created the Pebbles Center to enhance the learning and lives of the children of our city by offering them resources and opportunities to experience th

e rich diversity of Latin America and its people. Since its inauguration, the Pebbles Center has acquired over three hundred bilingual, English and Spanish language children’s books, tapes and videos on Latin America and the Caribbean. Each year a regional theme is chosen to guide acquisitions, special events and activities. Please contact us at [email protected] if you wish to donate, volunteer or would like more information.
