A little behind the scenes action with our awesome community partners & who stepped in to supply socks when we ran short last week 🧦 🧦

We are so appreciative to fellow nonprofits who work together to share resources to best help our unhoused community.

With GiveNOLA Day happening tomorrow we remember that a rising tide floats all boats and are grateful to everyone who gives their time, efforts, and contributions to the many deserving agencies assisting our community 💙🧡🩵

We LOVE GiveNOLA Day because of how empowering it is for our guests who know that there are folks out there who truly care about making their days a little easier. It’s awesome to see the community come together in service of the amazing nonprofit work that is being done daily in New Orleans.

Early giving is open now and we’re counting on you to help us spread the word and raise $12,500 to support services including showers, laundry, case management, housing navigation, phone access, and basic medical care for the 5000+ individuals who rely on us each year to meet their basic daily needs.

Thanks for all you do!

We're proud to announce that our Harry Tompson Center project has won a 2025 Pyramid award from ABC National! Founded by Father Harry Tompson in 1999, the center provides support for 160-200 unhoused community members per day.

Managing challenges including tight spaces, site security, and a snowstorm, Gibbs built a new, wood-framed structure with a raised wood deck, individual shower and bathroom facilities, new laundry facility with storage space, and banks of outdoor sinks. This project also includes unique architectural wood features, including planter boxes, bench seating, and custom-built louvers, while the exterior of the building combines a mix of painted Hardie board siding and clear wall panels.

Congrats to the entire on the recognition, in particular Superintendent James Kellum, Project Manager Shane DiCristina, and EIC Brian Bertucci.
