Coalition Member Spotlight: New Orleans Sewage and Water Board (NO SWB) used CMAQ funding to install XL Fleet Electrification systems on six new Ford F-150 trucks. By using hybrid electric trucks NO SWB is able to reduce five pounds of NOx emissions each year. That is equivalent to 1,652 miles driven by an average passenger vehicle being reduced in the New Orleans area. NO SWB also runs an idle reduction campaign which reduced 12,941 gasoline gallons equivalent and 160.5​​​​​​ tons of greenhouse gases.
