Vote Country utilizes merchandise, music, web sites, and other digital media platforms to disseminate politic information throughout the U.S.A. Vote Country believes that our country is great because of the people; not government. We have country values from the smallest towns to the largest cities. Vote Country wants to bring together these people, organizations, agencies, and communities to impact our local, state, and federal elections with a country message using country music – VOTE COUNTRY. We are not here to rock anything, but rather to vote for something – THIS COUNTRY! Why Vote Country? I have always been a country music listener. We can use country music as a positive influence to encourage citizens to register and actually vote in every election. VOTE COUNTRY is a positive “get out the vote” message. We want people to vote for something – this COUNTRY. With the current emotions running through America we must find a unifying message to attract voters from border to border and coast to coast. I have been trying to develop a counter, positive message for country music followers since the pop music voting campaign arrived. Country music is the most popular form of music in America today and it does not have a message to motivate its followers to vote. I developed Vote Country in 2010. Vote Country is a simple, yet positive message to encourage country music listeners to register to vote and then show up on Election Day. Country music has listeners are from the very young to senior citizens, rich, poor, blue collar, white collar, and retired. Working, looking for work and students all listen to country music. We must promote America’s positive attributes by leaning on our great values of hard work, helping a neighbor, protecting our rights, leading the world, and being the home of the brave without contempt, fear, or acrimony. Country music listeners, fans and artists must lead this nation in the upcoming local, state, and federal elections! We can no longer sit back, watch, and be silent. We must be the brave, the light on the hill, and leaders for the future. We must protect and defend this amazing country as a unified Vote Country team.
