⛵🌧️ A Day of Adventure at The Suites at Algiers Point! 🌧️⛵

Our residents enjoyed a loooong stroll through beautiful Algiers Point to catch a glimpse of the magnificent tall ships visiting New Orleans for the Sail 250 New Orleans! The afternoon showers may have chased us around a bit, but they certainly didn’t dampen our spirits.

Between the laughter, the scenic neighborhood views, and the excitement of seeing these historic vessels, it was a wonderful reminder that some of the best memories are made when you embrace the adventure—even in the rain! ☔😊

Spring continues to bloom at The Suites! 🌸💐

Our residents enjoyed a fun and creative Crepe Paper Spring Flower Workshop, creating beautiful handmade flowers to brighten our hallways and celebrate the season. Seeing the creativity and joy our residents bring into every activity is what makes our community so special.

Not only are we decorating for spring, but we are filling our home with artwork made with love by the amazing residents who live here. 🌼✨

The Suites at Algiers Point, fun and movement go hand in hand! 🎉⚽️

Our Assisted Living residents had an absolute blast today playing Pool Noodle Soccer and “Keep It Up” with the wonderful volunteers from Pantego! Residents used pool noodles to guide the ball into the goal during soccer, then teamed up to see how long they could keep the ball from touching the ground. Lots of laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition filled the room! 💙

Meanwhile in Memory Care, residents enjoyed some simple but meaningful Rolling Ball Fun, passing and rolling the ball between one another while sharing smiles and connection. Activities like these encourage movement, coordination, socialization, and joy for all ability levels. 🥰

At The Suites at Algiers Point, today’s activity was filled with creativity, memories, and meaningful conversation.

Our residents created beautiful handmade photo frames using some of their cherished old photographs. This activity not only encouraged creativity, but also served as a wonderful reminiscing experience — sharing stories, laughter, and treasured memories from years past. ❤️

Reminiscing activities can bring comfort, connection, and joy while helping residents reflect on the moments and people that shaped their lives. We love creating opportunities that celebrate each resident’s unique story and keep those special memories alive.

At The Suites at Algiers Point, Mother’s Day is all about celebrating memories, laughter, and the amazing women who helped shape our lives. 💐✨

One of the highlights of our annual Mother’s Day celebration was our “Guess the Mom” game! Residents, families, and staff had so much fun trying to guess younger photos of our beautiful moms, grandmothers, residents, and team members. From sweet childhood smiles to glamorous vintage photos, the room was filled with laughter, stories, and lots of surprised reactions! ❤️

Moments like these remind us that every picture holds a lifetime of love, strength, and memories worth celebrating. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s celebration so special!

Love, laughter, family, and celebration filled the halls at The Suites at Algiers Point today as we honored the incredible women in our community during our annual Mother’s Day celebration! 💐✨

From cherished memories shared between generations to hugs, smiles, and sweet moments with loved ones, today was a beautiful reminder that motherhood comes in many forms — mothers, grandmothers, sisters, caregivers, and lifelong friends. These amazing women helped shape families, traditions, and the world around us, and today we celebrated them with the love and appreciation they deserve.
