Headquartered in New Orleans, the 139th RSG consist of the 165th CSSB, 415th MI Bn, 773rd MP Bn, and the Headquarters. Soldiers from the 139th Regional Support Group conclude their best warrior competition at Camp Beauregard on August 17, 2025. This final day included a road ruck march and the awards and recognition ceremony to close out the three-day event. Congratulations to all of the 139th citizen-Soldier that represented their units for this competition. Congratulations also, to the winners and runner ups. Staff Sgt. Taylor G. Fain, 2228th Military Police Company, 773rd Military Police Battalion, was the first-place winner for the NCO of the year competition with Staff Sgt. Shabby C. Moore Jr., 1087th Transportation Company, 165th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion, being the runner up. Spc. Brendan T. Murray, 756th Medical Support Company, 415th Military Intelligence Battalion, was the first-place winner for the enlisted Soldier of the year competition with Spc. Shane D. Hough, 1086th Transportation Company, 165th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion, being the runner up. Fain and Murray will represent the 139th RSG in the state best warrior competition later this year.

Soldiers from the 139th Regional Support Group compete in the second day of their best warrior competition at Camp Beauregard in Pineville, La., on August 16, 2025. Day two consisted of an early morning ACFT, followed by a trip to the ranges for a weapons proficiency challenge as the candidates fired both the M17 pistol and the M4 rifle. The final event for the day was a land navigation group discussion and written exam. These citizen-Soldiers will conclude the competition tomorrow as they determine who will represent the 139th RSG at the state BWC later this year.
