Congo Square Preservation Society Congo Square Preservation Society was formed in 1989 by Baba Luther Gray and Mama Jamilah Peters-Mohammed for the preservation of historic Congo Square.

Congo Square has been sacred ground for African and Indigenous Native ceremonies since the 1700's.
