The Dillard University Archives Presents

"The Crescent City Gridiron" Exhibit curated by Mr. John Kennedy - Dillard University Archivist

This exhibit brings perspective to Black College Football through the legacy of Dillard University. Today, there are no HBCUs in the City of New Orleans with football programs. However, through this exhibit, we grasp a cityscape that normalized African American athletics. Also, it simultaneously captures the history of HBCUs, both past and present.
