As Louisiana’s largest closed-loop aquaponics facility, our 10,000+ square foot center is more than a greenhouse. It is a hub for workforce development, innovation, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and food access. Through hands-on training and sustainable farming practices, AACE is helping cultivate the next generation of farmers while expanding access to fresh, healthy produce across our communities.

Congratulations to Cohort 2 of the Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Foundation AgriAquaculture Center of Excellence (AACE) in Jefferson Parish! 🎓🌱🐟

Today we proudly celebrate students who successfully completed our Introduction to Aquaculture & Hydroponics course. Through hands-on training, these graduates gained valuable knowledge in sustainable food production, hydroponic growing systems, and aquaculture practices while developing transferable workforce skills applicable to agriculture, water processing, environmental services, waste management, and other growing industries.

Your dedication and commitment to learning have prepared you to take the next step toward employment, entrepreneurship, and career advancement. We are excited to see the impact you make as you help strengthen Louisiana’s workforce and build more sustainable communities.

The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Foundation has been driving economic development across all 64 parishes since 2018, and this year we officially kicked off our annual Regional Tour in Monroe. Last week, leaders from across North Louisiana came together for a powerful day focused on resources, partnerships, business growth, and opportunity for communities across our state.

Special thanks to our incredible agency and community partners including Louisiana Works, DOTD, Louisiana Department of Insurance, SBA, Louisiana APEX Accelerator, and the City of Monroe for helping us connect businesses and residents to real resources that move Louisiana forward.
