⚡️TAKE BACK THE POWER CAMPAIGN GUIDE⚡️

While working-class Louisianans struggle to afford our bills, Entergy is collaborating with Meta on their $50 billion data center. But a people’s movement can STOP Entergy’s plan to build 7 new power plants for Meta, end the rate hikes and backdoor deals with politicians, and ultimately fight for democratic control over utilities!

✍️It’s time to take back our utilities, take back our government, and Take Back the Power! Sign the petition at the link in our bio to get involved and check our Instagram and Facebook account for updates.

This past Tuesday, hundreds of Louisianans packed the public hearing to oppose the air pollution permit for Hyundai’s proposed steel mill in Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

While Hyundai and our politicians make secret backdoor deals and sign NDAs, Black and working-class communities suffer the health costs of these plants.

We must build a people’s movement to fight back against these undemocratic deals that exploit people and the planet for profit!

🏳️‍⚧️Justice for Aurora Rush and Shae Sanders!🏳️‍⚧️

As the right wing justifies attacks on trans people with bathroom bans, we must reject divide-and-conquer tactics and continue to fight for trans rights in the U.S. for the sake of every working-class person.

The people united will defeat Big Tech! Across the country, working-class communities are successfully organizing to stop data centers - in fact, public opposition stopped 75 data centers worth $130 billion in just 3 months of 2026. Join us to learn lessons from organizers across the US South who blocked data center construction, and discuss how we are building a campaign to TAKE BACK THE POWER from Entergy and Meta and stop data center expansion in Louisiana.

🗣️Richland Parish resident speaks out against Meta’s $50 billion data center!

Since construction of their Hyperion Data Center began, Meta has displaced residents from their homes, and many cannot afford higher rent on a minimum-wage income.

Richland deserves better than becoming an extraction zone, and people deserve better than data centers.

✊Richland Parish residents demand: no data centers on our dime!

Last weekend, we spoke to the people of Rayville, LA and Delhi, LA about the $50 billion Meta data center being built in their backyard without their input. As Meta drives up housing costs, the project has already caused mass displacement of lifelong residents. Others voiced concerns about rising energy bills, dangerous roads, strained water resources, and new power plants.

Across Louisiana, people are organizing to TAKE BACK THE POWER from Meta and Entergy. We can still stop Entergy’s plan to build seven new power plants to power Meta’s expansion! Join the fight: tinyurl.com/takebackthepowerla
