NPRS offers our sincere condolences to MFAU, HFD, SRFC and Annibelle's family. She made a difference in many lives over the years. She was a blessing to EMS in Ulster County.

Marbletown First Aid Unit mourns the loss of friend, Past Captain, and Member Annabelle Sarr. We send our condolences to all those who knew and loved her. We are eternally grateful for all of her years of service to not only the Marbletown First Aid Unit, but also High Falls Fire Districrt and Stone Ridge Fire Company.

This morning, EMT Mark Pizzarello (NPMS Teacher- Mr P) and EMT Maddison Goodnow (NPHS Senior) have the pleasure of introducing the New Paltz Middle School students to the world of EMS during Career Day. They pride themselves on taking care of our community. Along with telling their own personal story their personal adventure into EMS.

Our thoughts are with Joe’s family. He was an amazing educator and human being that shaped many of our careers in EMS. Because of his guidance and inspiration, we are all better providers and people.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of former Ulster County Ambulance Association President and Past Captain of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corp Joseph Poptanich Jr. Joe was an instrumental part in training many of the counties EMT’s. Joe taught countless EMT classes and taught some of the counties’ best providers who they are today.

Family and Friends are asked to gather on Thursday January 15th at 7pm at the Harris Funeral Home in Roscoe, NY to pay their last respects.

Joe you will be missed, and your service to the county will not be forgotten. 🙏🏻

This week some of our providers attended the NYS Vital Signs Conference in Syracuse. They had the opportunity to participate with hands on training and continuing education classes. As providers, we take great pride in continuing to learn more and improve our skills.
