Today Alex and Eddie from the MBP board removed the bog bridges from the former meadow crossing between the Yellow Loop and the a Blue Loop. This leaves the only current crossing between the east and west sides of the preserve on the south end along the Purple Trail. We will hopefully reopen the old Yellow/Green crossing soon.

The beavers are back!
The stream crossing between the yellow loop and the Blue Loop, through the old beaver pond, has turned into a new beaver pond and is no longer passable. As of right now (end of March) the only open crossing between the east and west sides of the preserve is the Purple Trail on the south end of the preserve. Please plan your trips accordingly! We will be shifting things around a bit this spring, so please be prepared to roll with the chances as we adapt to new stream changes through the preserve.
