TCHD is offering a FREE (class members can choose to join virtually OR in person) training course called “Responding to Addiction.” The training takes place on Tuesday, August 11th from 3 pm to 5 pm. Register today by visiting https://bit.ly/3RQyh8N . Class size is limited to the first 25 people to register. If you have any questions, please call (330) 343-5555, ext. 1780.
During the training, participants will learn signs and symptoms of addiction, evidence-based treatment options, medications available to treat addiction, recovery support and relapse prevention, how to start the conversation with someone in need of support, and engagement strategies. The training is open to all adults who want to learn more about addiction, build the skills to respond, navigate the resources in your own community, and ultimately keep people safe from harm.
