Tuscarawas County, it's time for our weekend traffic update!
U.S. Route 250 resurfacing project: A project to resurface five miles of U.S. 250 from the I-77 interchange to the Schoenbrunn Exit. Remaining work includes guardrail, rumble strip, and raised pavement marking (reflector) installations, as well as other miscellaneous tasks. U.S. 250 will remain reduced to one lane in both directions until the project is complete. Estimated Completion: October 31, 2026.
State Route 39 resurfacing east of Sugarcreek: A project to resurface nearly four miles of SR 39, starting on the east side of Sugarcreek near Dutch Valley Drive and continuing east to Pyle Road. The first phase includes pavement repairs, which will require temporary traffic signals to manage traffic. Once the repairs are complete, resurfacing will take place only at night, with flaggers directing traffic. Estimated Completion: September 30, 2026.
West 3 July 13-October 31, the West 3rd Street bridge is closed from Water Street to West Jay Street for a bridge replacement project. Estimated Completion: October 31, 2026.
As always, please give our Ohio Department of Transportation Eastern Ohio District 11 Ohio Department of Transportation workers space! Some of these areas may not have active construction over the weekend, but the color orange can be seen for miles! Slow down and stay safe!
