Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a murder/suicide in the Cot Rd. area of Lutz. Around 10:40 a.m., PSO deputies received reports requesting a welfare check at a residence. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult man and an adult woman deceased inside the residence. Preliminary information indicates the adult man shot the adult woman, and then shot himself. This is an isolated incident, and there is no public safety threat. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.

We Fight As One Wednesday: F1RST hosted FDLE Class 63 Florida Leadership Academy. Over the course of four weeks, a group of dedicated graduates from various agencies across Florida, including two representatives from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, came together to learn and apply themes of leadership skills, problem solving, financial objectives and varied management styles in order to not only take on leadership positions in their communities, but to also foster stronger connections through these same communities.

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY: Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are attempting to identify the below individual in connection with an active criminal investigation.

On Aug. 24, around 2:22 p.m., an unidentified suspect entered a business and stole from a victim in the 11000 block of US 19 in Port Richey.

The suspect is described as a White male with a beard, last seen wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, black jacket, dark colored shorts, pink/red undershirt, black sneakers, and carrying a shoulder bag.

Pasco Sheriff's deputies are currently searching for Kyla Craig, a missing/runaway 16-year-old. Craig is 5’1”, around 120 lbs., with black hair, and brown eyes. Craig was last seen on Aug. 22, around 5 p.m., in the Colina Dr. area of Dade City. It is unknown what Craig was last seen wearing. Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated reports of a weapon at a Fivay High School football game on Aug 21. Around 8:45 p.m., PSO deputies received reports that a student brought a gun to the football stadium. Upon notification, the game was immediately suspended, and the stadium was evacuated as a precautionary measure. Deputies immediately made contact with the suspect and were unable to locate a weapon. Following a thorough search of the stadium, deputies determined there was no weapon at the stadium. There is no threat to Fivay High School, and the football game has resumed.
