The Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that has been providing vision rehabilitation since 1983. The Lighthouse provides vision habilitation and rehabilitation and adjustment to blindness services to people of all ages who have experienced vision impairment. Lighthouse has served tens of thousands of people who are visually impaired since its incorp

Thank you, Inspiration Foundation!

Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind has been selected as a 2026 Inspiration Foundation Assistive Technology Grant recipient. We are grateful for this award, which will allow us to update our technology labs and better prepare clients for employment by teaching them to use the newest technology.

The Inspiration Foundation is partnering to increase the employment rate of people with disabilities by 10%. By expanding access to advanced assistive technology, the Foundation is helping reduce barriers and create new opportunities for people who are visually impaired and blind.
