Tonight, we join in mourning the passing of County Clerk Joanne Rajoppi. Words like trailblazer, dedicated public servant, mentor and friend only scratch the surface of her true character and impact. She has been a leader, a wonderful human, and a pillar of democracy in action. Our thoughts are with her family tonight. May she rest in peace.

Thank you to everyone who participated in Pride Across New Providence! The month may have ended but welcoming, respecting, and supporting all members of our community should never end.

This June, neighbors across New Providence came together to visibly show their support for our LGBTQIA+ friends, families, and neighbors.

More than 52 households throughout our community displayed Pride flags to help send a simple but important message: LGBTQIA+ people are welcome here, they’re supported, and they belong in our community.

Visibility matters, and every Pride flag helps show that New Providence is a place where everyone belongs.

Thank you to everyone who participated, shared photos, helped distribute flags, and supported this initiative. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make Pride Across New Providence such a meaningful success in its first year, and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the years ahead!

We had a fun weekend in New Providence!

It was wonderful to see so many neighbors enjoying the America 250 Community Baseball Game, whether they were playing on the field, volunteering behind the scenes, or cheering from the sidelines with family and friends. We loved spending time with other Democratic Club members, neighbors, and local leaders, including Borough Council members Kathleen Dolan, Alan Lerner, and Brian Gardner! Events like these are a great reminder of what makes New Providence such a special place to live.

We also enjoyed visiting the New Providence Amateur Radio Club during their annual Field Day, where Councilperson Kathleen Dolan had the opportunity to learn more about the important role amateur radio operators play in emergency communications and preparedness. It was great to learn more about one of our local organizations that's been going strong and serving the community for 61 years!

Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend! Community doesn't just happen. It grows because people show up, get involved, and support one another. We’re already looking forward to the next great weekend in New Providence!
