As we enter fall, our road crew will begin to trim trees. As a property owner, tree trimming is your responsibility. You own all the trees that may be located in the township right-of-way along your property. The right-of-way simply gives the township the right to work in that area as well as trim trees if the tree interferes with sight distance, winter maintenance or creates any other kind of hazard. Generally, our tree trimming occurs on roads we plan to work on the following year.
