🚑💧TO OUR MYSTERY WATER DONOR… THANK YOU!💧🚑

To whoever generously dropped off this water at our station — THANK YOU!

After Sunday’s fire, our water supply went from “we should be okay” to “well… that disappeared quickly.”

Between providing fire rehab, keeping crews hydrated on scene, and our everyday EMS calls, we go through more bottled water than you might think.

Needless to say, seeing this donation show up was a VERY welcome surprise! 💧

To our mystery hydration hero, thank you for thinking of us and helping restock our supply. Donations like this allow us to keep water on our ambulances and have plenty available for our crews and fellow first responders when it’s needed most.

We truly appreciate the continued support our community shows us. 💙🚑🚒

🚨 Public Service Announcement 🚨

Contrary to popular belief, EMTs, EMSVOs, and firefighters cannot survive on caffeine alone. ☕❌💧

With the summer heat, fire rehab, search and rescue operations, and everyday EMS calls, we've been going through bottled water like it's going out of style.

If you're headed to the store and feel like adopting a very thirsty ambulance crew (and our fire friends), we'd happily accept a case of bottled water.

Not making a trip to the store? No worries! We also have an Amazon Wishlist with bottled water and other supplies that help keep our crews response-ready. (We'll drop the link in the comments!)

We promise it'll all be put to good use—and probably disappear before the next shift ends. 😂🚑🚒

🚑 Introducing: Behind the Sirens Saturday!🚑

When you call 911, you see the ambulance arrive—but you don't always get to know the people behind the uniform.

We're excited to launch our new Behind the Sirens series, where we'll introduce you to the dedicated members of Penn Mahoning Ambulance Association. You'll get to learn what inspired them to join EMS and a few fun facts along the way.

We're kicking things off with Stacy! Take a minute to get to know one of the faces behind the sirens, and stay tuned as we continue introducing the incredible people who proudly serve our community.

Have family members who want to help during an emergency but aren't sure what to do?

Give them a task.

✔️ Gather your current medication list
✔️ Find your ID and insurance card (if available)
✔️ Write down any allergies or medical conditions
✔️ Secure pets and unlock the door if needed

These simple tasks help us get the information we need while allowing our crew to focus on providing patient care. Every little bit helps when time matters.

PMAA was honored to be part of West Penn Township's 250th Celebration. It was great to see our community come together to celebrate our nation's history and the pride that makes small-town America so special.

It is with profound sadness that we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and fellow law enforcement officers of Trooper Michael Pahira.

We are grateful for his dedicated service, unwavering commitment, and the sacrifices he made in protecting our communities. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with all who knew and loved him, as well as our brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

From all of us at Penn Mahoning Ambulance Association, we honor Trooper Michael Pahira's service and stand with those mourning this tremendous loss.

Rest in peace, Trooper Pahira. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 💙🖤
