Pointe Coupee Parish Clerk of Court The Clerk of Court also oversees elections for the parish. Please do not request to be excused from jury duty through this page.

The Clerk of Court maintains and preserves the official records of the parish, including land records, civil and criminal court proceedings, marriage licenses, and other legal documents. An excuse from attending jury duty can only be granted by the judge named in your jury summons.

Qualifying fees are set by R.S. 18:464. The Democratic and Repubican State Central and Parish Executive Committees also collect qualifying fees from candidates within those parties.
