The Oscar public school was located on the bank of False River, nearly opposite the head of Bigman Ln. These photos from 1917 - 1919 were from the collection of longtime educator Rose Miller Guerin.

Our library staff have been busy hitting the school open houses and parent orientations across the parish! We loved getting to meet families, share helpful student resources, and remind everyone that the library is here to help all year long. 💚📖
