Our community really stepped up and showed tremendous support for our fellow deputy.

Pointe Coupee community raises $11K for deputy who lost home during Tropical Storm Arthur. Deputy Gabe Bordelon continued serving his community during Tropical Storm Arthur — rescuing people and delivering meals — even as floodwaters filled his own home. The fundraiser was organized in his honor weeks after the storm.

Today, several law enforcement agencies joined together as one family to bring Tyler Grezaffi home to rest.

We ask our community to continue to lift the Grezaffi family and B. Blackburn in prayer as they endure this profound loss.

Today 2 of our members, Nic Losavio and Shawn Cotten, were able to go to the New Life Worship Center homeschool co-op and demonstrate some of what we do. The kids were attentive and were able to take turns trying on the vests, riding around on Cash, and seeing all of the different components to our uniform and what the job entails. Some of the teens even showed interest in Law Enforcement and asked several questions of Cotten, who has previous experience with Louisiana State Police. We are proud to serve our parish, so thank you to our Posse members who take the time to do this and to educate the families of our communities!
