Subway Beatdown - Group Beats Teen to Rob his Pricey Coat
QUEENS, NY — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying several individuals wanted in connection with a subway robbery that left a 15-year-old boy injured at a busy Queens transit hub.
According to police, the incident occurred on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at approximately 4:00 p.m., on the northbound platform of the 74 Street–Roosevelt Avenue subway station, located within the confines of the 115 Precinct and Transit District 20.
Investigators say the teenage victim was standing on the platform when he was approached by five unidentified individuals, all believed to be between 16 and 18 years old. Acting together, the group allegedly made a statement to the victim before punching him in the faceand forcibly removing the hood from his pricey Moose Knuckles jacket.
The victim sustained facial injuries during the robbery but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
