Please see the statement below from the Board of Education regarding the search for our next Superintendent:

As you may have read earlier today, Superintendent Jonathan Raymond indicated his last day in our district will be at the end of this school year. We would like to acknowledge and thank Mr. Raymond for his hard work and the significant contributions that he and his outstanding administrative team have made over the last 18 months. His abbreviated tenure was not anticipated, but we respect Mr. Raymond's decision and understand his need to be closer to his family.

Identifying our next Superintendent is the Board of Education's top priority and we are confident we will identify a candidate of the highest quality to succeed Mr. Raymond. The Board met to consider our options at this time and to discuss next steps. Please be assured that we are all committed to an inclusive, collaborative and open search. The Board believes we have a number of high quality candidates working for the District who have the skills and qualifications needed to assume this important role.

We will update the community with the details regarding this process, including our anticipated timeline at our next Board Meeting, Tuesday, January 24th.

July 16th - 12pm - 2pm - A Taste of Union (Union Ave btwn 1st St and 4th St)

July 28th - 6pm - 8pm Hudson Park, Ruby Dee Park at Library Green

August 11th - 6pm - 8pm - Stephenson Park, Parkside Place, Huguenot Children Library

August 13th - 1pm - 3pm Pinebrook Park and Lincoln Park

August 25th - 6pm - 8pm - Peter Bracey Apartments, Heritage Homes, Queens City Towers (50 Sickles Ave) and 111 Lockwood Ave

While enroute from location to location we may stop at other parks or areas not listed.

Students, Families: Survey Deadline Wednesday
The City School District of New Rochelle values your feedback. Students in grades 3 through 12, and families, should have
received a request via email to complete a survey on perceptions of the school district and the district’s effectiveness.
Insights will help formulate or augment strategies to continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences for the
whole child – academically, socially and emotionally. The district has partnered with Panorama Education to conduct the
survey. Replies will be kept confidential; codes to reply are on each school's website. Deadline is Nov. 24. For more information,
call (914) 576-4206.

The Board will convene the meeting, enter into an executive session, then reconvene the public portion of the meeting at approximately 7 p.m. The meeting also will be viewable via the Zoom video-conference platform.
