Check it out! Way back when Nicholas Thaw was the Executive Director guess which two of these guitarists were presented by the Meetinghouse.

There were relatively few women playing guitar during the '70s, and the few that did emerge were largely underrated and overshadowed by their male counterparts.

If you have concern about parking in Orange for our Save The Steeple concert, here is a map of the area with parking highlighted in aqua. The church is at the very top of the photo, beside the Town Hall. On the other side is the Historical Society, which has 2 small lots. The rest of the parking is scattered through the center of town. The largest areas are behind and beside the courthouse, where it is labeled Stage on Main. It is not a long walk from there.

Please join us for a wonderful evening!

The steeple at 1794 Meetinghouse in New Salem is in less-than-perfect shape, and is in need of repairs. We had the idea, what better time for a fundraiser than Patriots Day - you know, one if by land, two if by sea? We may not be the Old North Church, but the Meetinghouse is very historically significant in the North Quabbin area.

As the flyer says, this will be an evening of songs of patriotism, protest, and peace, featuring a number of area musicians in singing and speaking roles, highlighting songs and poetry from the American Revolution to the current times.

This is going to be a delightful event. There will be light refreshments, and you can take a chance to bring home a gardening basket!

This Sunday at 3pm! Join us at the Athol Congregational Church for the QVPM concert. Hope to see you there!
