Hello New Sharon....The Stilwell Library is going thru a growth spurt so to speak with new events coming up in 2017 and a new Certified Library Director. We are excited about all the changes coming so be sure and watch our fb page as they develop.

We have a list of items that we are in need of so if you could check this over and contact the library or one of the board members we would appreciate it.

Small conference table with 6 chairs

Small apt size refrigerator
Flat screen TV
VCR/DVD player (combination unit)
Modern Art work in bright colors
Donations for new check out system (software)

Last night at the Stilwell Public Library, our Board President Dianna Klinker had the honor of accepting two donations. Craig Deming who did a beautiful Mural for the Childrens Section of the library gave back the fee to us for the purchase of new childrens books. Also Michelle Vogt Purdum, Broker/Owner of Legacy Real Estate in Osklaoosa matched that donation for our library !
The Library Board wants to express a heartfelt Thank You to both Craig Deming and Michelle Vogt Purdum for your generosity !

Board Members include: Dianna Klinker, President, Terry Pollard, Secretary, Twyla Septer, Bertie Wiley McMillian, and Bev Belzer.

Craig painted the beautiful mural at the Stillwell Library in New Sharon and donated his $200 fee back to the library to purchase children's book. Michelle matched his donation for a total of $400 to go towards the Children's section! We are pleased to partner up with the staples in our communities!

HEH... NEW SHARON !! .....The library has new hours for patrons. It was decided that the hours we had before didn't allow for people who work to use the facility....soooo... beginning today the hours are as follows:

Monday---12 pm-7 pm
Tuesday- CLOSED
Wednesday - 11 am to 7 pm
Thursday- 3 pm to 7 pm
Friday - CLOSED
Saturday- 9 am to Noon

Watch for other new things happening at the library in 2017 !

The Library is going to be changing hours in order to accommodate the community's ability to use it more often. Changes will occur

The new Mural is going up !!! Can't wait to see the completed project. Our own town Artist "Craig Deming " has agreed to do the painting. Thank you so much Craig ! Rough sketch to follow.

Watch for changes coming to the Library...The book drop box will be moved to the front of the building.

There will be a new mural painted on the wall in the back room for Story Time by Craig Deming...Coming soon !!
