Fort Berthold Rural Water applied for and received federal funds through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act for a booster station along Hwy-23 east of New Town. The Elbowoods Booster Station is apart of our broader plan to regionalize water from our Parshall Water Treatment Plant to the North Segment. Phase 1 of our regionalization efforts will be complete by early summer with Phase 2 following later this year. For Berthold Rural Water believes regionalizing will significantly reduce our operational cost by combining 2 public water systems into 1.

Fort Berthold Rural Water's new Office in nearly complete and we anticipate initial move in within the next week. Growing and expanding the FBRW system requires additional space for us to grow with the system. FBRW currently employs 26 staff in all 6 segments. From Administrative, water treatment and pipeline distribution it takes a dedicated team of professionals from every aspect of this program. Its been 32 years in our current office and we are now ready to for a new chapter at FBRW. We applied for federal funds under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and received enough funds for our new facility. We are greatful for the TBC and our Federal Partners with the Bureau of Reclamation for their continued support of the Fort Berthold Rural Water Program.

The new Bruce A. Fox water treatment plant in Mandaree is progressing at a tremendous pace. Named after Bruce A. Fox of Mandaree North Dakota who supervised FBRW's Water Treatment facilities and Distribution System for 33 years. This state of the art Treatment Facility will utilize Nanostone ceramic membranes to produce over 1000 gallons a minute for the Community and rural Mandaree. FBRW applied for federal funds and received over $33,500,000.00 from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to build this new facility. Fort Berthold Rural places a heavy emphasis on the future growth of the West Segment, we proactively identified the need and worked with our federal partners to ensure we could meet this goal.

The new Mandaree elevated tank is designed to
stand over 200 feet tall. This 500,000-gallon composite-style tank is built to support growing community water needs in the West Segment. Interior coatings are currently underway with an anticipated exterior coating in late May. Fort Berthold Rural Water's 2050 master plan identified growth in the community and rural Mandaree.
