🌡️ Today’s Conditions:
• High temperatures in the upper 80s to near 100°

🟠 Mountrail County, McKenzie County– High Fire Danger

🔥 Burning is strongly discouraged today, especially in McKenzie and Mountrail counties.
🟦 Moderate Fire Danger means fires can still start and spread in dry grass and brush, especially with gusty winds. Use caution with any outdoor activity that could create sparks.
🟧 High Fire Danger means fires can ignite easily and spread quickly under dry and windy conditions. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
🔥 Fire Prevention Tips:
• Avoid outdoor burning
• Do not park in tall grass
• Secure trailer chains
• Never toss ci******es from vehicles
• Report smoke or fire immediately by calling 911
Near-critical to critical fire weather conditions may continue again tomorrow before a gradual cooldown and higher humidity arrive this weekend.
